How can I connect my hdd panasonic digital handheld camcorder to the ac adapter? Tech support couldn’t help me?
It’s a 40gb, 42x optical zoom, has advanced ois, is a hybrid with optional sd card slot. the ac adapter is actually just a battery charger but somehow I am suppose to connect it to the camcorder to be able to upload any video to my computer and its making me mad.
Too bad you did not supply the model number – that way, we *could* have read through the manual.
The last time I checked, many Panasonic camcorders come with an “AC adapter”. It looks like the part of the battery that connects to the battery pack area – but it is not a battery.
For example, the SDR-H40 manual can be downloaded at the link provided below. Page 9 shows the DC cable – and the AC Adapter (the battery charger) that came in the box when the camcorder was purchased. Remove the camcorder battery. Page 21 shows the cable linking the AC adapter to the DC cable – which is then inserted to the battery cavity in the camcorder.
